Mediation Northern Ireland is committed to maintain its role as a relevant and effective social enterprise. The aim is to deliver sustainable, high quality mediation practice and development programmes.
To ensure high quality practice, staff and associates undergo regular training; there are further accredited practitioners.
Mediation Northern Ireland works with other mediation bodies on standards and equivalency. The resource of practitioners is expanded and diversified through the Next Generation project, which is developing a new "wave" of mediators with skills and experience to continue the work of the organisation. This is achieved through the provision of a training and mentoring programme for a group of young mediators.
Mediation Northern Ireland wants to ensure that there is continuous improvement of the systems and processes concerned with ensuring its overall direction, effectiveness, supervision and accountability.
Our organisational development is intended to expand the level and profitability of mediation casework, training and consultancy services which we deliver in Northern Ireland, other parts of the UK, Southern Ireland and internationally.
